We propose an Arts District emanating out from Theater City, ensuring that it is successful as a major destination. The Urban Amphitheater, still the core concept of our design, is now linked with other venues, exhibition spaces, restaurants, retail, make spaces, sound stages, and other creative functions.

What if we put a city in a theater, instead of a theater in a city?

The Urban Amphitheater is has thick poche that are packed with F&B, retail, exhibition spaces, and also its own back of house functions to support outdoor performances and events. Circulation bridges and stairs penetrate the Amphitheater at different levels crossing over a dynamic, vertical lobby space below.
Theater City becomes a true urban environment, alive throughout the day and night, intimate, comfortable, and it fulfills a variety of social functions for The Line.
The first-ever vertical performing arts center in a theatre city, a hybrid theater experience with VR and Holographic engagement, Virtual Production backdrops, and mobile stages. Audiences can move and follow the action as storytelling unfolds in the Z-axis.
